Research
Research is conducted through a variety of groups that exist within the Department. There is frequent collaboration among faculty members who practice within a common field of specialization (structures, transportation, etc.), as well as between the groups representing the variety of disciplines within Civil Engineering. Research in specific areas is also facilitated through a number of special facilities within or associated with the Department. These include:
