Professional flexibility

The University of New Brunswick's Engineering Co-operative Education Program allows students to participate in work terms of 4, 8, 12 or 16 months duration beginning in January, May, and September in any calendar year.

This offers companies flexibility in meeting their professional staffing needs by making students available for extended work terms throughout the year.

Feedback from employers participating in the Co-operative Education Program have indicated that:

  • highly motivated students have brought new ideas to their companies.
  • students are well prepared technically and have strong problem solving and analytical skill sets.
  • employers can use the Co-op placement as an opportunity to evaluate the student's suitability for long-term employment.
Testimonial
It's easy to get involved at UNB.
UNB is small enough that it's easy to become a part of many interesting activities yet it's also large enough to have amazing opportunities.
