Apply for Admission

Both paper and online applications  are available - it's your choice!

Find the online application here. Your first step will be to create an account.

If you prefer, you can download and print a paper application.

International Students: Your online application link is the same as above, but your paper application is here.

Ontario Students: Don't forget to include your OUAC reference number on your application! This allows us to get your grades automatically from your high school. On the online application, you'll enter it in Step 3 after giving the name of your high school. On the paper application, it goes in Section 4 "Indicate Intended Status".

Apply for Scholarships

Applying for scholarships is easy! The general scholarship application will get you considered for most UNB-wide and Computer Science-specific scholarships. Click here to complete the general scholarship application as soon as you've completed your application for admission. The scholarship application deadline is March 1st, but earlier is better!

There are a few 'special scholarships' that require additional information (such as a personal statement or letters of recommendation) in addition to the general application - Find more information about special scholarships here.

A Note About Co-op

The option to participate in co-op is one of the highlights of our programs, giving you the opportunity to earn while you learn and potentially graduate debt-free! Students in all Faculty of Computer Science programs (including concurrent) are eligible to participate in co-op. There's no change to the application process - you'll receive info about co-op during your first term with us.

Campus Tours

Want to get a first-hand look at UNB Fredericton and the Faculty of Computer Science? "Book a tour online". You'll see our classrooms, labs and student spaces, and meet with our Co-op coordinator. You can even sit in on a class. Be sure to include 'Computer Science' where the online form asks what program you are interested in, and mark the 'Meet with a program representative' checkbox!
