Print/Scan Documents

Color Printing

The Media Lab offers the ability for you to send your files to print in colour or B&W, on a variety of paper sizes and media including:

  • Letter (8.5 x 11)
  • Legal (8.5 x 14)
  • Tabloid (11 x 17)
  • Overhead Transparencies (8.5 x 11)
  • Glossy (8.5 x 11 or 11 x 17)
  • Card Stock or colour paper (8.5 x 11 or 11 x 17)
  • Large Format

View our Price List for cost of printing. Payment may be made in cash, manually through print credits, or departmental accounts.

Scanning

The Media Lab has scanning equipment to use so that you can take your hard copy documents and create digital files for use in your presentations, papers or the web.  The following scanning options are available:

  • 35mm film or film strips
  • text (OCR - you can scan your typed documents and transform them into Word documents or .pdfs. )
  • documents or photos up to 11" x 17"

All above services are self-serve; however, we are here to instruct you on the use of the equipment and to advise you on how to achieve the best results for your project.

File Translation

We have the ability to translate your digital files to different formats including translating older text files into current software versions.
