Hardware Repair

The Technical Workshop will either perform or facilitate repairs on UNB (and STU) audio-visual and multimedia equipment that has been purchased with its recommendation. Turn-around time can vary depending on work load, complexity, part availability, and manufacturer support. We also provide pick-up and delivery repair service for UNBF.

We can repair or facilitate the repair of:

Smart Classroom Technology
Multimedia Technology
Audio-visual Equipment
Videoconferencing Equipment
Interactive Whiteboards (Smart Boards)

There is no labour charge for this service; however, parts over $40 and consumables (such as lamps and batteries) will be charged to the respective department.

Note: For STU repairs, the cost for all parts are charged.

We reserve the right to refuse service for brands or models that have been purchased without our recommendation and for equipment that we deem beyond reasonable repair.
