Access to UNBF Smart Classrooms

Most Smart Classrooms require a physical key or keycode to access the console or lock box equipment.  Arrangement for key sign-out should be made well in advance of your class by contacting Classroom Support.

These keys are unique to each room, so the instructor should sign out the key for the specific Smart Classroom to which they require access to.  When the key is picked up, the instructor will be required to sign a form agreeing to return the key when specified and to acknowledge that their department will be billed $100 if they lose the key or fail to return it by the due date.

Access Guidelines

  • Training is required before a key can be signed out for any Smart Classroom if you have not used the room before.
  • Keys may be signed out for one-time use, or for a maximum of one term.
  • A levy of $100 will be charged for lost keys or the failure to return a key.  This fee is to cover the cost of re-keying the affected locks.
