Student Operators

CETL staffs a limited number of trained student operators that can assist with UNBF events, conferences, and presentations.  These students have been trained in the use of audio-visual and multimedia equipment, including UNBF Smart Classrooms and Videoconferencing.  The availabilities of these students is subject to their personal schedules, so please book well in advance to ensure we can accommodate your request.

The hourly rate for Student Operators is $20/hour.

Student Operators will be paid through CETL, with a charge-back to your Faculty or Departmental account.  Please note that you will be charged for 1 hour of set-up/take-down time in addition to the actual event/class time.

Confirmation from our Equipment Pool staff is required before you may consider that any student operator request is actually scheduled.
