Other Resources

Visit the Career Resource Centre at Counselling Services in the CC Jones Student Services Centre. This is one of the best ways to identify potential careers. Conduct your own research using resources available in the Centre.

Visit the Student Employment Service in the Neville Homestead to learn about part-time, work-study (on-campus), summer, internship and volunteer opportunities available. Engaging in career-related learning and activities increases your chances of finding a satisfying career.

Consult with your academic advisor, professors, family and friends. Your academic advisor and professors have knowledge and experience that can help you with your career planning. Talk to people you know — and even those you don’t — about the jobs they are doing. Most people are happy to talk about their work and to share information.

Workshops
