Get Work Experience
You'll greatly improve your employment prospects, and your study
habits, by getting work experience. Exploring different work situations
also helps you find ou
t what you want, and don't want, in a career.
Plus, you earn while you learn and that money can help pay your tuition.
It's a great way to get a high quality education at a low cost!
"In the co-op program, you can gain up to 24 months of work experience (6 terms of 4 months). Those two years give you such an advantage over someone who finishes university with no work experience! After six terms, you get to know what you really want to do. And not only do employers get to know you, but you get to check them out too! "
