Faculty of Kinesiology
The work of kinesiologists benefits all those who move, which means
you could be working with high-performance athletes, people suffering
from chronic injury or disease, or those wanting to improve their
overall physical health.
UNB's Faculty of Kinesiology offers a number of opportunities to combine classroom learning with practical experience through experiential education practicum and internship options. Our students experience hands-on learning in state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, and our faculty members are leaders in their field.
Degree Programs and Concentrations
We offer two, four-year degree programs so that you can concentrate your studies in either the health industry or the thriving field of recreation and sport studies:
Students interested in becoming elementary or secondary physical education teachers and coaches in school systems can select either the BRSS or the BScKin degree program. Students who are interested in the Arts and Humanities as a teachable minor should select the BRSS degree program, while students who are interested in the Sciences as a teachable minor should select the BScKin degree program.
