Bachelor of Science in Environment and Natural Resources
Why Study Environment and Natural Resources?
The goal of the Bachelor of Science in Environment and Natural Resources (BScENR) program is to create tomorrow’s professional environmental and natural resource managers, scientists, and advocates.
There is a pressing need for professionals who can take a systems approach to understanding resource management problems. This approach involves working towards resolution of environmental problems from both biophysical and socioeconomic perspectives, based on a strong grasp of the underlying science.
The BScENR program will equip you to solve environmental and natural resource problems from a holistic, systems perspective incorporating your knowledge of land, water, air, plants, animals, and people. You will have the skills to characterize, analyze, predict change, and to synthesize information into comprehensive solutions that demonstrate appropriate stewardship of natural resources.
