Your professional year - year two of the MBA
UNB Fredericton MBA Students have two options during the professional year: take a general MBA or pursue a professional track.
General MBA: The general MBA allows students to customize their program and participate in courses that give them an edge in the business world. During this year, students have to complete the strategic management course plus an internship, the applied integrative studies course, or a team thematic course. Additionally, students also select six electives that best suit their career goals.
During the professional year of the general MBA program, students complete the following course work:

In addition to the required courses noted in the table above, students have to complete six electives in the professional year. This enables you to customize the degree to gain the knowledge and professional skills required for your chosen career path.
*Courses that are team taught around a cross-functional theme may be accepted by the graduate programs committee as a required second year course.
