Orientation Week: The foundation year begins with an intense week of orientation when students are introduced to the program and meet their professors, classmates and members of the MBA Society. During this week students participate in a variety of academic refresher workshops in the areas of math, statistics, business communications and case work that prepare them for the courses they will be taking. While familiarizing themselves with the curriculum, students also partake in a number of social networking events that help them get to know their professors and classmates.
Professional Development: A unique feature of UNB's MBA program is the professional development component. This component of the program includes workshops, experiential exercises, field trips and exposure to subject-matter experts, all designed to give students practical knowledge that will assist them throughout their careers. Many of the professional development events welcome members of the business community and alumni, so our current students are able to network within a professional community, making valuable contacts that will help them as they develop their career.
