At UNB Fredericton our business students are encouraged to
start developing their career potential at the beginning of their first year,
no matter what program they are enrolled in.
There are a number of ways they can do this; pay attention to the labour market, think about the companies they would like to work for when they graduate, interview professionals who are working in the field they're interested in, attend career fairs and career development seminars. Always take advantage of the opportunities UNB provides to meet and network with employers and experienced professionals.
Students in the BBA program are able to jump-start their careers by enrolling in the co-operative education program, and MBA students are given the opportunity to bridge the gap between the classroom and the work place by participating in professional development seminars.
