Law in Society

"Law in Society" is...

...an interdepartmental and inter-faculty program involving, on the Fredericton campus of the University: the departments of Anthropology, Economics, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology, of the Faculty of Arts; the Faculty of Administration, and the Faculty of Law. Selected courses from the Saint John campus; departments of Psychology, Sociology, and Business Administration, may be counted for credit.

The programs offered are specifically designed to expose students to knowledge concerning the interface between law and society. Programs are presented from a variety of perspectives represented by participating academic disciplines. Courses for a LWSO program have one common theme: they all explore connections between law and the social order.
