Experimental Program Statistics

In the 2011-2012 academic year, 7 completed applications for the experimental program were received, and 2 offers of acceptance were made. There are currently 11 graduate students in the experimental program (8 women, 3 men). The majority of students are from the Atlantic Provinces, although students from Quebec and Ontario are represented in the program. There are currently 2 international students registered in the program, as applications from students outside of Canada are encouraged. For the 14 students who have completed the Ph.D. degree in the past eight years, the average time to completion was 8.6 years (post Bachelor’s degree) and 6.5 years (post Master’s degree). During this time 2 students have withdrawn before completing the Ph.D. degree.
