I work four days per week primarily in health psychology with adults.  This includes two days per week seeing inpatients on medical/surgical units, and outpatients (primarily people with cancer, diabetes and cardiovascular disease).  Services provided include general clinical assessment and therapy as well counselling around lifestyle change and illness adjustment issues.  I also work two days per week in the outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation Program, located in the Woodbridge Centre, where I provide general clinical assessment and therapy, lifestyle change and illness adjustment counselling, client teaching in the education component of the Cardiac Rehab program, and conduct client intake interviews.  I have a particular interest in Motivational Interviewing and my students are provided with training and supervised practice in this method.  I can take one student, although it should be noted that because I am part-time, students will not obtain sufficient clinical hours for a full-time practicum.  However, other clinical activities can often be arranged with other supervisors to meet this requirement.  Students participate in all aspects of my clinical work.
