Jason Marsh
Biographical Sketch
After earning his BA with Honors in the Department of Philosophy and his BeD from UNB, Jason went on to the University of Western Ontario, where is now a PhD candidate in philosophy. Jason works in ethics (especially Human rights and children) and various issues at the intersection between philosophy and science (values, implications of cognitive science, science and religion, biotechnology). He has recently spoken on these interests at various universities including: Oxford, Duke, Cambridge and Toronto.
His current research takes place within the recently launched Joseph L. Rotman Institute for Science and Values which promotes collaborative research that is connected to the sciences. Lastly, he has recently won the Graduate Student Teaching Award (2008).
