He then served on the  UNB Board of Governors for two years, and also was a managing editor for The Brunswickan the following year. He simultaneously took a Master of Philosophy in Policy Studies from UNB, focusing on community development and civic engagement, graduating in 2007. Greg then went on to work with the Department of Education and the Executive Council Office of the NB provincial government, the Environment and Sustainable Development Research Centre at UNB and also taught a class on envrionmental studies. Later, he accepted a positon with Jacques Whitford conducting sustainability consulting and research in the province. Greg hopes to continue to build networks and awareness to progress the application of developing sustainability, and demonstrating how people and the province can protect the environment while improving livelihoods. He will continue to build upon the skills that he started to develop in his philosophy classes, and use them in a practical way to improve the community around him.
