Dexter Mallaley

Biographical Sketch

Dexter obtained his BA with honors in Philosophy from the University of New Brunswick in 2009. It was here he developed a keen interest in continental philosophy. In this regard, he coordinated his attention towards specific thinkers such as Friedrich Nietzche, Michel Foucault, Jean-Paul Sarte and Emmanuel Levinas. In his later years at UNB, he began looking into their eastern brethren, and was delighted by the parralles. Dexter was also president of the Philosophy Society during his final year at UNB and was invited to give several guest lectures at St. Thomas University on Nietzche. Dexter will continue his studies in the upcoming year at the University of Saskatchewan having been accepted into the MA program where his thesis is to examine Nietzche's concept of teh "warrior elite".
