Launch of David Frank's Provincial Solidarities: A History of the New Brunswick Federation of Labour
David Frank spoke at the opening session of the New Brunswick Federation of Labour convention in Saint John on 26 May, where delegates are marking the beginning of their 100th anniversary year. The evening featured the first public presentation of Provincial Solidarities: A History of the New Brunswick Federation of Labour / Solidarités provinciales : Histoire de la Fédération des travailleurs et travailleuses du Nouveau Brunswick. All delegates received copies of this new book, one of the outcomes of the Community-University Research Alliance on labour history in New Brunswick that was led by researchers at UNB and the Université de Moncton (www.lhtnb.ca).
