Labour History and Public Policy in New Brunswick Conference

On September 1-2,there was a conference on the Fredericton Campus of UNB on the subject of Labour History and Public Policy entitled: "Informing Public Policy: Socio-Economic and Historical Perspectives on Labour in New Brunswick."
Labour history and public policy in New Brunswick was the theme of a recent conference at the University of New Brunswick. The event was opened by Minister of State Keith Ashfield (left), convenor Professor Linda Kealey, and UNB President Dr. Eddy Campbell. During the conference organizers announced the establishment of a New Brunswick Labour History Award for participants in the province's Regional Heritage Fairs this year.
