Faculty of Arts Course Registration

Incoming first-year students can register either on-campus or online. If you would like to visit campus, meet with advisors, and have your questions answered in real time, SOAR is for you. If distance or scheduling makes SOAR difficult, you have transfer credits from another program, or you’d like to register at your own pace, online advising is a great option for you.

Either way, it’s a good idea to read up on the requirements for first year and the courses being offered in the upcoming academic year.

On-campus registration

Attend UNB’s Spring Orientation, Advising, and Registration days (SOAR) to meet with an advisor, register for courses, obtain your student ID, and get to know campus with other new students. This year’s SOAR days will be held:

  • Saturday, April 29
  • Saturday, May 27

Online registration

Online registration is done from the comfort of your home at your own pace. You will read through a description of the first year diversity requirements, choose the subjects and courses that are right for you, create a timetable, and check it all with an advisor before finally registering. Questions? Email artsreg@unb.ca.
