In parallel with his career at Bell Aliant, Mike is delivering project management training and consulting for a number of companies and organizations. In 2010 Mike started teaching project management courses for UNB’s Master in Business Administration (MBA) program and was appoint as a Graduate School Teaching Associate in 2018.

He is an APEGNB Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) who has been working for Bell Aliant on IPTV technology programs and projects since completing his UNB Electrical Engineering degree in 1991. As part of his IPTV design role, he worked with a team to patent an Apparatus for Television Display of Telephone Audio and Data Dialog.

Mike is an experienced program manager who has held a Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification since 1999 and has been Program Management Professional (PgMP®) certified since 2009. He is currently focused on developing agile project management skills and learning agile delivery tools and techniques. In 2016 Mike earned a Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) from scrum.org and is practicing Scrum and Kanban to delivery innovative IPTV services and features.

He is active with the New Brunswick chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI-NB) by volunteering as a subject matter expert for their annual PMP study group. He has held various positions on the PMI-NB board of directors, including the position of President.
