Judy Roy joined the Faculty of Business Administration in 1993 and is the founding member of the Communications area. Dr. Roy teaches Business Communications in the BBA program and Corporate Communications to both graduate and undergraduate students. She is passionate about teaching and and received the Faculty of Business Administration's Excellence in Teaching Award in 2004.

Dr. Roy served the Faculty as Assistant Dean - Graduate Programs and Director of Graduate Studies making her a member of the Deanery for six years. She sits on numerous committees and served the University as a member of the Board of Governors and a member of the Senate in different capacities for nine years. She has served as the University Marshal for all Fredericton campus graduation ceremonies since 2008.

Her primary responsibility is focused on undergraduate and graduate teaching. Dr. Roy participates in individual and joint research initiatives in the areas of management education, business communications and adult education.

Prior to joining the Faculty, she worked directly in the field of business communications for more than twelve years in both the public and private sectors.
