Lynn Haley joined the Faculty of Business Administration in 2005 and is a member of the Human Resources Area. She teaches Human Resources Management courses in both the BBA and MBA programs. She was awarded Professor of the Year by the Business Administration Undergraduate Society in 2008, the Faculty of Business Administration’s Annual Research Award in 2013, and the FBA’s Excellence in Teaching Award in 2014.

Professor Haley has extensive professional experience in the not-for-profit and public sectors where she has held numerous leadership and advocacy roles. She was the Executive Director of the Canadian Paraplegic Association (New Brunswick) Inc. from 1995 to 2005. She was a member of the Premier’s Council on the Status of Disabled Persons from 1994 to 2000 and served as Chair of the Council from 2000 to 2003.

Professor Haley served as an active member of the Design Team which developed the policies, principles and scope of the current New Brunswick Disability Support Program and has served as a member of the DSP Implementation and Evaluation committees. She has also been a member of: the Employ-Ability Action Group for Persons with Disabilities; the River Valley Health Integrated Rehabilitation Services Accreditation Team; the Region 3 Hospital Corporation Accreditation Leadership Team; and the Coordination Committee for the Stan Cassidy Centre for Rehabilitation/DECH Expansion Project. She was also a Founding Member and Chairperson of the NB Disability Executives’ Network.

Professor Haley’s primary responsibility is dedicated to undergraduate and graduate teaching. Her academic interests include human resource management, employment law, business ethics and strategic not-for-profit management.
