Project Management Professional (PMP®) and CAPM® Exam Preparation

May 28-30/07
Fredericton, NB
$995 (plus HST)

Winter 2008
Moncton, NB
$995 (plus HST)

The workshop reflects the contents of A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge, 2004 (PMBOK® Guide) published by the Project Management Institute. It is recommended that participants bring a copy of this guide to the workshop.

Workshop materials include the workshop manual, which is revised with every revision to the PMBOK® Guide. Another workshop handout is our invaluable booklet Farndale's PMP® and CAPM® Preparation Guide which includes 250 sample questions, and which is revised and re-issued every six months. This workshop is listed by PMI® as Registered Education Program.

Recommended Reading: PMP Exam Prep by Rita Mulcahy, ISBN: 189067642X

Who should attend?
This three-day workshop is appropriate if you are already somewhat or largely prepared for the examination. The workshop is an intense "crash" review of exam material, not as a stand-alone project management workshop. Study of the PMBOK® Guide is essential; other readings may be required. If you are preparing for the examination for the Project Management Professional designation, or the new Certified Associate in Project Management, consider attending our intense three-day preparation.

Instructor: Janice Petley
Janice Petley is a Senior Consultant with Procept Associates Ltd, a firm providing project management (PM) consulting and training services since 1994. Janice has over 20 years of project management experience, as an Executive Producer, Producer, and Production Manager. Her typical assignments are definitely project management, but are anything but "typical". Janice holds both a BA from the University of Western Ontario and a BEd from Queen's University, and has her Project Management Professional designation.

Janice's ability to understand and appreciate both client and project requirements has enabled her adapt to the needs of projects such as World Youth Day (the Pope's visit), a European tour with the Rolling Stones, shooting an IMAX film, and the Billy Graham Crusade at SkyDome in Toronto. Drawing upon this experience, Janice is able to provide scenarios in her training which are interesting and accessible to a wide variety of people and organizations.
