Washington Center Internship

Partnered with the Washington Center for Internship & Academic Seminars, UNB offers a 10 or 15 week internship in Washington, DC with a chance to earn academic credit. Participate in the Global Trade & Regional Integration Program and learn first-hand about Canada-US Relations, meet with international leaders, and explore bilateral issues between Canada and the US.

Interns are provided with fully-furnished apartments throughout Northern Virginia, Washington and Maryland. Participants may intern at such prestigious agencies such as the Canadian or Mexican Embassies, Merrill Lynch, Amnesty International, Inter-American Development Bank and hundreds of other non-governmental organizations or businesses. Interns also complete an academic course and participate in a variety of career and professional programming and other activities through our Leadership Forum.

The NB Provincial government provides a $4,000 scholarship to NB resident students, to apply submit a completed application form by December 1, 2015. The Student Abroad Program provides an additional $1,500 towards the program cost.
