The department of Philosophy invites you to attend a lecture by George R. Lucas, Jr. (PhD), Distinguished Chair of Ethics, U.S. Naval Academy Emeritus and author of Ethics & Cyberwarfare (Oxford Press, 2017), entitled 'Military Ethics and Cyber Warfare.' [Military Ethics: What Everyone Needs to Know (Oxford Press, 2016).]

The department of Philosophy is inauguration, through it's Ethics Certificate Program, a stream in "Military Ethics." What is Military Ethics, and what ethical challenges does the advent of ever-new forms of cyber conflict and war (such as "state-sponsored hacktivism") pose for the professions of arms?
