Event Details:

The NB Network in Primary and Integrated Health Care Innovations (PIHCI) invites you to join us for the first Patients’ Den, where patient advisors will help set research priorities in New Brunswick. We will be granting three awards, up to $5,000 each, to research teams who are proposing to work on a project that responds to the NB PIHCI Priorities. The funding is to be used to help support research teams with further developing their research ideas and/or the development of grant applications.

Interested research teams will be asked to submit an online application and, if approved, will present their proposed research project at an in-person event on May 10. Applicants will have approximately 10 minutes to present, and may use visual aids. After each presentation, there will be a brief question and answer period.

The applications will be assessed by a panel of patients to determine how well the proposed ideas address the NB PIHCI priorities. A panel of researchers will also assess each project to ensure the scientific merit of the study.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with an event start time of 6 p.m.

*** Researcher applications MUST be submitted online through the NB PIHCI website no later than 4 p.m. AST on March 29, 2018. ***
