Event Details:

Scientists are now in an era when our ability to collect data likely exceeds our capacity for its analysis.

This "big data" era presents challenges but is also rich with opportunities for new and creative approaches for advancing our understanding of waterways.

This seminar, happening on both campuses, discusses this new time for aquatic sciences and its importance for future studies, researchers and water management.

Dr. Christian Torgersen, US Geological Survey, Washington, will present.

All are welcome.
