The Associates of the Provincial Archives of New Brunswick will present a Heritage Week free public talk by Robert Fisher, Senior Archivist, Culture & Society Division, Library and Archives Canada (and a descendent of the Fisher Family, prominent N.B. Loyalists) on "Efforts to Confirm an Oral Tradition Told by a Grandmother of the Coming of the Loyalists to N.B. in 1784, & Other Family Mysteries From the Archives," Tuesday, February 11, 7:00 pm, Provincial Archives of New Brunswick, 23 Dineen Drive, UNB Campus. Free parking.

February Fredericton Heritage Trust Public Talk: The Honourable Graydon Nicholas, Lieutenant Governor of New Brunswick, and the Fredericton Heritage Trust, invite members of the public to a free illustrated talk by Robert Fisher, Senior Archivist, Library and Archives Canada, on "Picturing New Brunswick: British Military Artists and the Portrayal of a Province, 1755-1867," Wednesday, February 12, 7-9 pm, Government House, 51 Woodstock Road, Fredericton. The occasion is in honour of Heritage Week in New Brunswick and a special presentation will follow the talk. A reception will follow. All are welcome.
