Event Details:

This Sunday is the first meeting of the semester for UNB Water and Public Health Brigades. Work with other students to better the living conditions and bring clean drinking water to families in rural areas of Honduras! We will be fundraising and collecting supplies for a rural community in Honduras. During August some of our members will be participating on a 10 day hybrid water/public health brigade, where they will have the opportunity to work side-by-side with families to build eco-stoves, concrete floors, latrines, showers, and water storage units during the public health section. During the water brigade days students have the opportunity to work side-by-side with engineers and families to build a piece of a full scale water system that will provide clean water to over 3 people for every 1 volunteer.
