Vox Session I - Saint John
The first Vox Session will take place on Friday, Sept. 13, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Hazen Hall, room 127. The event is open to spectators, but will function as a poetry workshop. Guest poet Dr. Anne Compton will be advising the group for this exciting session. Email Jenna Albert at firstname.lastname@example.org for further details.
The Vox Sessions are a new creative writing endeavor, hosted through Vox: UNBSJ's Arts Annual. Vox Sessions are bi-weekly poetry workshops that will allow students to share and improve upon their creative writing. Interested students will meet on a bi-weekly basis at an assigned room at the University of New Brunswick’s Saint John Campus. If you are interested, contact Jenna Albert via facebook message, text (639-1461) or email (email@example.com).
The sessions will function as a means of sharing student poetry and aiding one another to improve it. Students are encouraged to submit their poetry to the Vox Arts Annual. We will have prompts or bi-weekly assignments, as Dr. Compton had done in previous Creative Writing courses. There will be guest poets to provide the group with insight and aid.
