Student Affairs and Services (SAS) invites UNB Fredericton faculty and staff to an information session on the services SAS provides to students. Representatives from Counselling Services, Student Employment Services, Student Accessibility Centre, Financial Aid, International Student Advisor’s Office, Writing and Study Skills Centre, Student Advocate and Student Health Centre will be on hand to provide information and answer any questions you have.

Topics include: What assistance is available for students who have financial problems? How and when should I refer students to Counselling Services or Student Health Services? What help is available for students in academic difficulty during the term? What should I do if I suspect a student has an undiagnosed learning disability?

All are welcome. The session will take place on Monday, August 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the C.C. Jones Student Services Centre, room 024. Please RSVP to staffair@unb.ca by Thursday, August 15.

This year there will also be a professional development session held in the afternoon for all Academic Advisors focusing on when and how to make referrals to specialized services such as Counselling Services, Student Health, and the Student Accessibility Center. This session will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 in the C.C. Jones Student Services Centre, room 024.
