Biography

B.A/M.A., Ph.D. Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy

Dr Tramonte is Assistant Professor at the Department of Sociology, University of New Brunswick and Research Associate at CRISP.

She is involved in several projects concerning the study of children and youth developmental outcomes. She works with PISA, TIMSS, PIRLS, NLSCY, and CCHS dataset to understand the impact of socio-economic and cultural variables on different social outcomes. She teaches quantitative methods at the undergraduate and graduate levels and offers international trainings on large databases management and Multilevel Modeling data analysis. In her current research, she uses multilevel modelling to analyze with longitudinal and cross-sectional data the impact of socio-economic segregation on children and adolescents' well being.
