Biography

Jennifer Moorcraft holds the position of Assistant to the Director and provides advanced administrative support to Dr. Willms while overseeing all facets of the day-to-day operations of CRISP, including but not limited to:

  • Managing and administering grant/contract accounts
  • Managing office operating expenses - salaries and overhead
  • Managing ongoing changes to CRISP office space requirements using CFI and other sources of funding
  • Providing administrative support for CRISP staff, students, and visiting scholars
  • Undertaking research and special projects as assigned by the Director, assisting with preparation of proposals and grants

Originally from Prince Edward Island, Jennifer moved to Fredericton, NB in 1999 with her husband Jeff and three children, John, Jacob and Georgia. She was previously employed with the Province of New Brunswick as Assistant to the Director of Assessment and Evaluation and has contributed to her community through volunteer work with her church, the local SPCA, Rogers Television as a news anchor for First Local and with Joy FM as office manager and radio announcer. Jennifer is a strong believer in using hard work, a positive attitude and strong organizational skills to help develop solutions and initiate positive change.
