The CABIN modules are designed to provide participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully conduct assessments of river health, to an acceptable standard, using CABIN methods; and to provide uniformity and consistency in the application of CABIN methods.
Learning outcome - Module 4
- Participants will have an understanding of the standard laboratory sample processing procedures required for CABIN and provide an introduction to family-level macroinvertebrate identification from the various in-stream habitats, and know how to operate the CRI Web Key at (coming in Spring 08) for identifying macroinvertebrates to family level.
