MEC17 Symposium Details

As in past years, various courses and workshops will be offered.  The details of these sessions are currently under development.

Each day of MEC17 will be concentrated on different aspects of advanced limb prosthetics, ranging from research to clinical applications.  These include Keynote speakers, panel discussions, and vendor forums along with podium and poster presentations.

Social Program

Nestled along the St. John River, Fredericton is a beautiful city, known for its friendly people. MEC17 will have a full social program, including a wine and cheese event at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, a Maritime banquet at UNB's Richard J. Currie Centre, and local musical entertainment. 



The Symposium will be held August 15-18, 2017 in Fredericton. Fredericton is the capital city of New Brunswick, Canada. It offers beautiful scenery, a charming downtown district, and plenty of great activities both within the city and its province.

This year, MEC will be held at the Delta Fredericton, located on the St. John River with its river front walking trails and beautiful sunsets. MEC has received a special rate at the Delta Fredericton which can be accessed here, or by mentioning "MEC" when booking.
