2-year (4-semester) programs at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology

Graduates who have attained an overall program average of 70% in any of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology diplomas listed will be eligible to enter year three of the four-year Bachelor of Applied Management (BAM) at the University of New Brunswick Saint John.

Depending on the diploma program, students may be exempted from study in certain courses and therefore requested to take alternate courses offered by the Faculty of Business. These exemptions will be noted in the student's file upon admission.

Bachelor of Applied Management - Hospitality & Tourism (BAMHT)

Location: Saint John campus

Graduates of the two-year (four-semester) Hospitality Management program at SAIT, who have attained an overall program average of 70%, will be eligible to enter year three of the four-year Bachelor of Applied Management – Hospitality & Tourism (BAMHT) at the University of New Brunswick Saint John.

Travel and Tourism

Graduates of the two-year (four-semester) Travel and Tourism program at SAIT, who have attained an overall program average of 70%, will be eligible to enter year three of the four year Bachelor of Applied Management – Hospitality & Tourism (BAMHT) at the University of New Brunswick Saint John.

In addition to the regular program requirements for the BAMHT these students, prior to graduation, will be expected to complete Economics 1013 (Micro Economics) or Economics 1023 (Macro Economics) or an equivalent. Where possible these will not increase the total course requirements for the degree. With the permission of SAIT, these may be studied within their current program and evidence of course of study communicated to UNBSJ at the time of application.
