Graduates who have attained an overall program average of 70% in any of the College of the North Atlantic diplomas listed will be eligible to enter year three of the four-year Bachelor of Applied Management (BAM) at the University of New Brunswick Saint John.

Depending on diploma program, students may be exempted from study in certain courses and therefore requested to take alternate courses offered by the Faculty of Business.  These exemptions will be noted in the student’s file upon admission.

Bachelor of Applied Management - Accounting (BAMAC)

Business Administration - Accounting at College of the North Atlantic

Location: Saint John campus

Graduates of the two-year (six-semester) Business Administration - Accounting program at College of the North Atlantic, will be eligible to enter year three of the four-year Bachelor of Applied Management - Accounting (BAMAC) at the University of New Brunswick Saint John.

In addition to the regular program requirements for the BAMAC these students, prior to graduation, will be expected to complete UNB Economics 1023 (Macro Economics) and UNB BA3425 - Managerial Finance. With the permission of College of the North Atlantic College, these courses may be studied within their current program and evidence of course of study communicated to UNB at the time of application or consideration may be given to equivalents of these courses at other approved Post-Secondary Institutions. Where possible these will not increase the total course requirements for the degree.

Due to exemptions, graduates from this diploma program would not be eligible to study a number of UNB courses towards their BAMAC degree. These include:

  • UNB | BA2303: Principles of Marketing
  • UNB | BA2858: Introduction to Human Resource Management

Bachelor of Applied Management- Accounting (BAMAC)

Business Management - Accounting at College of the North Atlantic

Location: Saint John campus

Graduates of the three-year (eight-semester) Business Management - Accounting program at College of the North Atlantic, will be eligible to enter year three of the four-year Bachelor of Applied Management - Accounting (BAMAC) at the University of New Brunswick Saint John.

Due to exemptions, graduates from this diploma program would not be eligible to study a number of UNB courses towards their BAMAC degree. These include:
