Wine and Food with Craig Pinhey at the East Coast Bistro
CCOM 2051
In this class students will learn the basics of wine and food pairing through a guided sampling of five "small plates" prepared by East Coast Bistro Chef Tim Muehlbauer, each matched to a specific wine chosen by Craig Pinhey. Chef Muehlbauer is the co-owner of East Coast Bistro in Saint John, and previously was Chef at several fine establishments in British Columbia, and a culinary instructor. Craig was trained as a professional Sommelier and has been judging wine competitions, travelling the wine world and writing about wine for the past 12 years. His approach is more as a facilitator rather than a lecturer.
