Watercolour Explorations

 CCOM 1402

Unlock your full potential with this school of watercolour mixing. Beginning with the fundamentals of colour theory, this class will uncover the secrets of mixing a wide range of desirable colours from just a few pigments, and teach you how to control the water and pigment to achieve just the right tone and light – opening up the world of colours so you can confidently create the colours that you really want.

The student should have some basic knowledge of watercolour painting. Whether you are a very curious beginner or someone wishing to intensify your knowledge of pigments and mixing, this class will reveal new discoveries for you.

This workshop is all about discovering and exploring colour – really exploring!

To ensure best success, students will be asked to complete 1-3 hours of homework assignments each week. So be prepared to have fun – but also be prepared to work! Also expect to come away with several colour studies that you can frame.
