About the instructor: Eleanor Austin is a senior marketing consultant. Seeking the “new” continually fuels her career whether it’s chasing breaking stories as a CBC journalist and radio producer; conducting market research on new-to-the-world telecommunications products; or creating “content marketing” at a social media start-up.

Eleanor’s new consultancy, e-telligence, integrates the principles of marketing and journalism to create “content marketing” for clients and giving people a reason to talk about these brands.

Eleanor’s insatiable curiosity leads her to continuously forge new paths of learning, including two executive training programs at Ryerson University, in Mobile Media and Digital Technology. These led to invitations to write an industry article on “Building your online Reputation” and being featured in a national webinar called “Power-up your Professional Online Profile”.

Her volunteer responsibilities include CWC Chair of the New Brunswick Regional Board, Past Chair of the Market Intelligence Committee (of the national Marketing Research and Intelligence Association), and canvassing for the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
