Learn the magic of the pottery wheel and make things that last for lifetimes. We sculpt small projects, make dishes for food and learn about clay. We also paint and decorate the works as we finish them. There are always new things to make out of clay and you’ll discover them in this class.

Dates: 8 weeks, Thursdays, May 2 - June 20, 2013
Time: 6:30 - 9:30 pm
Course fee: $130 (plus HST)
Location: Artist’s Studio, 244 Duke St WEST.
Take first exit off Harbour Bridge and turn right up Duke, then look for the studio about Lester’s Trophies.
Materials: All materials will be provided by the instructor for a $85 fee.
About the instructor: Alison is known for keeping her students busy working on new and challenging projects. She has traveled the world (Japan, Germany, Norway) to learn about her trade and continues to expand her work capacity. In 2004 and 2006 she graduated with a BAA and a BA Hon. She’s participated in numerous group and solo shows, shows pottery at Handworks, and recently had a six-week internship with the Saint John Sculpture Symposium.
