Intro to Outdoor Skills 

CCOM 4028

This 6 week class will explore skills that will help you on your journey into nature. Topics will include introduction to tree identification, knot tying skills, fire building skills (with and without matches!), compass use and orienteering, hiking, backpacking and camping.

Many classes will also include hikes at beautiful locations in and around Saint John . Good hiking shoes are recommended.

Bring water, snacks and a day pack to each class.

Dress for the weather, since all hikes and guided activities will be outside.

Location: Various Locations in the Saint John Region
Course fee: $179 (plus HST)

Mary Jo Boyce is a certified Outdoor Woman, with a deep understanding of the magic and healing power of nature. She's conducted outdoor training for a variety of groups from homeschool kids to grandmothers! MareJo will have you fully entranced and engaged in your future natural life!
