Intro to Novel Writing

Have you always dreamed of writing a novel but don’t know where to start? Are you thinking about participating in National Novel Writing Month aka NaNoWriMo in November?  This introductory course will provide you the basics for creating memorable characters, setting up conflict, and organizing your ideas into basic plot points

Class limit: 10

Dates: (FALL) Thursdays, November 9 - December 14, 2017 (6 weeks)
               (WINTER) Wednesdays, March 14 - April 18, 2018 (6 weeks)
Time: 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Location: Saint John Social Enterprise Hub, 139 Prince Edward St, Room #TBA
Course fee: $170  (plus HST)

About the instructor: Abby has spent the last 20 years carving “who shot JR moments” into technical courses, speeches, proposals, and everything in between for Fortune 500 companies.  A method writer with a Hemingway swagger and a True Detective heart, Abby has climbed telephone poles, sat in courtrooms, and hiked in the woods alone after dark to get a good story.
