Happy Mandarin Chinese, Level II

After the first period study of Mandarin Level One, you will have mastered some basic knowledge about Mandarin. In Mandarin Level Two, we will learn more sentences and phrases to enlarge your vocabulary. In addition, we will learn how to write Chinese characters and the structure of Chinese characters – this will help you study more and more by yourself in the future. When you finish this level, you will be able to recognize most Chinese characters and will be able to read in Chinese.
Instructor: Liping Zhou
Dates: Saturdays, November 9 – December 14, 2013 (6 weeks)
Time: 1:00 - 3:30 p.m.
Location: The Great Room, 2nd floor, City Market. Access off North Market Street.
Enter and proceed straight ahead through a fire door to access the elevator to the 2nd floor, or take the stairs to your right. If walking, go up two flights and enter the second floor door. The classroom is directly in front of the elevator or to the left if you enter off the stairwell.
Course fee: $165 (plus HST)
About the instructor: Liping Zhou is a very experienced Mandarin teacher. Her native language is Mandarin and she was born and raised in China. She graduated from Tianjin University of Science Technology in China. She used to be a teacher in a technology school in China and has taught Mandarin in various local high schools in the Anglophone South School District of New Brunswick after she immigrated to Canada. Her classes are very unique and interesting.
