Discover how to be creative with your photographic tools. Any camera format is acceptable, but you should be familiar with your camera controls. Classroom sessions consist of a series of digital slide presentations that introduce you to photographic terminology and how your camera's controls can be used for creative effects. The effective use of lighting, composition and design, night photography, people photography, landscape and close-up photography will be covered. As time permits, specialized techniques such as HDR and focus stacking may be introduced. The course also includes a field trip to a local park or greenhouse and a hands-on classroom session using studio lighting.
