ABCs of Investing

Knowing what decisions to make about your RRSPs and other investments can be difficult. This course is intended to help you understand investment terms and products and to introduce you to strategies and concepts to help build your personal net worth and security. Presented in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, you will have lots of opportunities to ask questions. This course is a great investment!

Dates: Tuesdays, October 29 to November 19, 2013
Time: 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Location: The Berlin Room, 2nd floor, City Market. Access off North Market Street.
Enter and proceed straight ahead through a fire door to access the elevator to the 2nd floor, or take the stairs to your right. If walking, go up two flights and enter the second floor door. The classroom is directly in front of the elevator or to the left if you enter off the stairwell.
Course fee: $110 plus HST
About the instructor: Marilyn Williams has been teaching with the Faculty of Business at UNBSJ for over a decade. A Certified Financial Planner, she works as a Financial Consultant with Investors Group and has over 15 years experience as a financial planner. Marilyn has instructed the BA3421 Personal Finance course in the Faculty of Business for several years and is passionate about educating the public on the ins and outs of investing and knowing the appropriate strategies for different life stages.
